Dress and act professionally while working. Some people find it helpful to dress in casual business attire during their working hours. This reinforces that just because you’re working from home doesn’t make you any less of a professional. Answer the phone with your name, or business name, and keep your children off the phone during business hours. Also, spend money investing in the tools you need to do your job right. A cell phone, fax machine or even a budget computer can help turn your home office into a true workspace.
The key is to know how to use YouTube correctly. I just watched a webinar taught by Gregg Davison and learned a ton of how to promote my business the proper way. From being confident in front of the camera to the amount of videos you should put out. Whether you own an a chain of restaurants or have you own home business YouTube can be a powerful tool for you. The webinar I watched taught me how to get lots of my subscribers to my YouTube page. So imagine if you had a bunch of people that subscribed to watch commercials every time you put one out and that’s what its like only you get it for free.
They think everything is free and no investment required in order to work from home and make money online. You need to invest time and money in getting your online business up and running.
Research – Take time to look at more than one business opportunity. You want to research all the ones that interest you using any major search engine. It is also a good idea to read reviews and testimonials to find out what others are saying about it.
It’s at least 10x more effective to target a group of people who “already” possess positive character traits and good business skills that’ll help you take your business to the next level.
Look at offers, and pick out the ones you think are realistic and then do more research about the company. If the ad states you don’t have to do any, or not much work, run. There is no business that you don’t have to do any work.
To market relevant information products, software and tools – The reality is not every website visitor you get will be interested in your business. In fact, 80-90% of your visitors, who even convert to leads, will not be interested. Does that mean you should just let that large percentage of website visitors fall through the cracks? No, you should monetize the people who have no interest in what your business is by marketing relevant products to them that they can use for their business. If you do not build an emai list, how can you do this effectively? You can’t and you’ll be leaving hundreds, or even thousands, of dollars a month on the table.
If you see there is money to be made, an opportunity that is new and exciting and the product or service that has appeal in the marketplace, you know you have found a winner!
